Mercury Vapor Tree Lighting Guide

Tree lighting involves aesthetic design considerations, therefore placement recommendations should serve only as a general guide.

 These recommendations such as led retrofit kits are based on an average luminance of 10 foot candles and provide suggested number wattage of landscape lighting kits to achieve moonlight effects in various size trees.

To use the chart, determine the approximate canopy size of the tree by multiplying the width and height of the tree in feet. Use these chart figures to select the number of fixtures recommended depending on the density of foliage and the amount of moonlight illumination you would like to achieve.

Power supply wire must be shielded to the 8’ level using flexible metal conduit or PVC seal-tight conduit.
